Honeysuckle Rose
Fats Waller's classic from 1929 had lyrics by Andy Razaf, and was recorded by Fats in 1934. I've always loved Waller's music, ever since I was a kid, and ended up playing rhythm guitar on it in jazz bands in the mid-1970s.
I thought it would make a good tenor guitar piece when I got my tenor in 2009, and eventually got round to recording it some years later. The backing consists of guitar and acoustic bass guitar.
